Have a question for me? There are a few that I get a lot, so I thought making an FAQ might save both of us some time. As I think of them, I'll add more questions to this thing.
How do you color your pieces?

What kind of training/classes have you had?

Wasn't your college previously listed as Ringling School? Why is it now Ringling College?

Can I use one of your pieces for an icon/avatar/signature/video etc?

Can you create graphics for my website?

Can I use some of your work for my website's layout?

Do you take requests?

Do you take individual commissions?

How do you color your pieces?
My work is colored using Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom Cintiq. After I sketch the picture, I clean it up and scan it into the computer and make any necessary proportion adjustments in Photoshop before importing the drawing into Adobe Illustrator CS2. After completing the line work in Illustrator, I export the piece back into Photoshop and color it.

What kind of training/classes have you had?
In 2007 I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration.

Class credits include Figure Drawing I and II, Life Drawing, Illustration Media, Illustration I and II, Advanced Illustration, Computer Illustration, Advanced Computer Illustration, Intro to Graphic Design, Painting I and II, Figure Painting, and Figure Anatomy.

Wasn't your college previously listed as Ringling School? Why is it now Ringling College?

While I was a student at Ringling, the full name of the school was "Ringling School of Art and Design". In 2007 Ringling's President re-named the school "Ringling College of Art and Design" to better reflect the nature of the school. Being a member of the class of 2007, I was the last class to formally graduate from Ringling School of Art and Design before the name change was made official.

Nothing about Ringling's calibur of education has changed from when they were called "Ringling School" vs. "Ringling College".

Can you create graphics for my website?
If I am hired to do so, yes.

Can I use some of your work for my website's layout?
Yes, with the proper negotiation for rights of usage. Please contact me to make arrangements.

Do you take requests?
No, I'm sorry.

Do you take individual commissions?
Yes, I do, when I have the time between client-hired jobs. Please contact me for rates.
